What is mycourse.work?
mycourse.work is a platform for creating and delivering branded training courses. Describe what you want to teach, and AI generates a complete course — lessons, quizzes, images, and structure. You refine it with AI-assisted editing, and everything is version-controlled in Git.
Who is it for?
Course creators, training teams, and enablement orgs who need professional courses without spending months on production. If you know your subject but don't want to build from scratch, mycourse.work handles the heavy lifting.
What do we need to get started?
Just a topic and a rough idea of your audience. Describe what you want to teach and AI generates a complete course structure with modules, lessons, and quizzes. You can refine everything afterward in the Studio.
How long does it take to create a course?
AI generates a complete course in minutes — not months. You can start refining immediately. Most teams go from idea to published course in a single session.
Learner experience
How do learners access a course?
You share a course link. Learners open it in any modern browser — Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox on desktop, tablet, or mobile. No app to install.
Do learners need an account?
It depends on your setup. Courses can work with link-based access (no login required), or you can enable authentication with Clerk for progress tracking, certificates, and role-based access.
Does mycourse.work track learner progress?
Yes. When authentication is enabled, learners can track their progress across modules, resume where they left off, and earn completion certificates.
What devices are supported?
Any modern browser on desktop, tablet, or mobile. The portal is fully responsive and optimized for all screen sizes.
Course content
What does the AI actually generate?
Complete courses: module structure, lesson content with explanations and examples, quizzes with answer explanations, images and diagrams, and audio narration. Not just outlines — real teaching content that's ready to publish.
Can I edit what AI creates?
Absolutely. The Studio gives you full control to adjust tone, add your own examples, regenerate images, and restructure content. AI assists your edits too — you stay in control while AI does the grunt work.
Are quizzes and certificates supported?
Yes. AI generates quizzes with multiple choice, matching, and multi-select questions — each with answer explanations and configurable pass marks. Completion certificates are built in.
Can we brand it with our logo and colours?
Yes. Each tenant gets their own subdomain (or custom domain), logo, favicon, brand colours, and typography. It looks and feels like your product, not ours.
Technical
How does version control work?
Every course is backed by a Git repository. Edits create branches, reviews happen through pull requests, and changes merge cleanly. Full history of every edit, with the ability to roll back anything.
Where is content hosted?
Content is served from Cloudflare's global edge network (R2 storage + Workers). This means fast load times worldwide with no infrastructure for you to manage.
Is it secure?
Yes. mycourse.work uses Clerk for authentication, database-level tenant isolation (each tenant has their own D1 database), and serves all content over HTTPS from Cloudflare's network. Role-based access control is built in.
Can we migrate from another platform?
Yes. If you have existing course content, we can map it into the mycourse.work structure. The format is simple — Markdown lessons and JSON quizzes — so migration is straightforward.

Is there a free trial?
We offer a personalised demo to show you the platform with your use case. Book a demo and we'll walk you through everything.
Is there a revenue share?
No. You keep 100% of any revenue from your courses. mycourse.work charges a simple platform fee — no hidden costs or per-learner charges.
Is there lock-in?
No. Your content lives in standard formats (Markdown + JSON) in your own Git repository. You can export and leave anytime.
Is there analytics?
Yes. You get learner progress tracking, quiz completion rates, and course engagement metrics. Integrations with PostHog and other tools are available for deeper analytics.
